Playing music for 32 years, Ralph Usdan originally produced with Bruce Johnson, an LP called "Johnny Avalanche... Hit and Run" in 1985.Performances by Bruce Johnson, Miles Evans and Chris Hunter are included. Hugh Wyatt of the daily news reviewed it on July 26 1986.Within a year there was a song on the radio called hit and run by Paula Abdul and followed by the black crows throwing in a cover version which was a signature of my album, ”Hard to Handle”. I had relentlessly sent my vinyl to everyone in the industry. This album is available on line for as much as $45 so Ralph will soon re-release some tracks for your interest. We will start to release original material; but, our mission is to encourage the listeners to support these song writers, as well as enjoy Ralph’s submissions. No money is accepted here. Ralph has chosen songs by artists who would appreciate a folk/cabaret approach to performing the many gems of songs forgotten. Bob Dylan said in an interview that folk singers play other peoples material while song writing is a different craft.
* means altered miscellaneous house beat altered by Nuke and the gang. They claim they miscellaneously slapped on an un marked CD and altered the tracks. I believe credit and copyright kudos go to Danny Teneglia or Victo Calderone for the pre-altered tracks applied. Let us know if you know.
